Tafhim ul Quran is a 6 Volume translation and commentary of the Quran into Urdu. This six volume set has been widely read and is considered one of the best modern commentaries on the Quran. Syed Abul Ala Maududi wrote Tafhim ul Quran over a period of 30 years. His commentary explains the verses with much attention to their contemporary application.
