The word "Tajweed" literally means to make better, or improve. The science of tajweed of the Holy Quran is the science of the rules and knowledge of the recitation of the Quran as the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) recited it.

This color coded Quran will help the reader practice their tajweed while reading and reciting the Quran. The colors correspond to the various rules of tajweed which are outlined and explained at the end of this book. There is a legend at the bottom of each page that reminds the reader about the color code that is used.
