This book serves as a good \"basic\" overview of the life of Abu Bakr (radi Allahu `anhu). I wish it was more detailed, because some of the facts of his life left me at the edge of my seat wanting to know more! For instance, the book discussed what kind of intellect he had as a young child, how he was close to his parents, what he sacrificed of his physical well being for the truth, and how he kept his trusts even after the prophet (salla Allahu `alayhi wa sallam)\'s death.... subhan Allah, I want to know more. I read it to my Sunday school class, and they really enjoyed it. The style of writing is easy to understand and follow. I recommend this book to anyone who would like to get a brief and general overview of Abu Bakr (radi Allahu `anhu)\'s life.
